[09 Aug 2005|01:34am] today while i was at work it started raining so hard. and since i didn't want to be at work i decided to go outside and play. which actually ended up just being me laying on the hot gravel while pools of water formed around my body and i got rained on so hard it hurt my eyes. it was the best. well, i was quickly joined by others... texas summer storms are one of my favorite things. but i got soaked and then had to go back to work in the air conditioned building and it was so cold and it sucked. then after work i went to shawn's house and went skating in some neighborhood where cars kept driving by and getting mad. but it was cool. after it got dark i finally went inside and beat a lot of people up. ok not really but i got tackled by 3 weird girls who smell funny [ok not really again] but yeah i have carpet burn on my arm and it hurts. [10 Jul 2005|11:19am] i like secrets shared between your close friends. about magical hiding places and books read out loud. last night i dreamed about the place above and i felt neither scared nor calm. just different. it's a thing i can't explain. the future is coming on too fast. but isn't it funny that time is never moving faster or slower. only our perception of it speeds up and slows down. my perception is stuck on fast forward. the remote control has slipped through the cracks. so we'll have to watch the rest like this. 12 trees fall

[05 Jul 2005|02:10pm] one time i met a man in downtown la jolla who said that he was going to be the next president of the united states of america, but he needed my vote. i couldn't tell whether he was crazy or serious but he was dressed up in a suit and had a charming old man smile. he walked away and i chased him down the street and asked if i could take his picture. he said of course and then he gave me his business card and said that it would get me straight into the white house to take pictures. needless to say, it made my day. 9 trees fall
